Sector E2 – Salmon Branch (without guide)

We have one sector without guides on each branch (guides available upon request). The Lake Branch (D2) has a watershed two times the size of the Salmon Branch (E2). Therefore, you can expect lower water level on the smaller watershed.

In these two sectors, salmon spend most of their time in the upper reach (D1 and E1 zones) which is composed of pools such as Alder Island and Nine Mile. Nonetheless, pools like Megs (103) or Montgomery (80) and the Stairs (87) will maintain a number of genitors throughout the season.

For the more adventurous and experienced anglers, a canoe (not provided by the Society) can be used to travel down from 89b to 88 (excluding 88 if sold). This entails a canoe ride of approximately two hours through five fishable pools as well as a few pocket pools. A similar experience can be accessible from pool 88 (am) and pool 87 (pm) and come out just above pool 80. This adventure is recommended in medium to high water level.
